In Branson, there is an excellent permanent Titanic museum and interactive experience. The front portion of the museum is shaped like the prow and starboard bow quarter of the ship, and a small pool and fountains at the prow make it seem as though the ship is cutting through the water.
Each visitor is assigned a boarding pass corresponding to an actual Titanic passenger, and visitors learn about their on-board experience, berthing, and ultimate fate along the way.
Toward the end of the tour a container of water is chilled to the actual water temperature survivors/victims were exposed to. 38 degrees, I think. There is also a timer to see how long you can keep your fingers or hand immersed.
